Litfest at Lighthouse is coming June 6–21, 2008. Last year's featured speaker was Tobias Wolff. Stay tuned for information about seminars, workshops, readings, panel discussions, and one-on-one critique sessions. I'll be teaching a two-weekend workshop titled: Navigating Your Book. Amy Knox Brown
I met Amy ten years ago in the only writing class I ever took — a three-week workshop with Frank Conroy at Iowa — and have been following her work with pleasure ever since. Her first collection of short fiction, Three Versions of the Truth, is just out from Press53. (Check out the Booklist review and blurbs from Jill McCorkle and the excellent Dan Chaon.)Robert Garner McBrearty
McBrearty, an old friend from Boulder, has been selected for the Sherwood Anderson award.
